Nd:YLF Laser Crystal
Neodymium Doped Yttrium Lithium Fluoride
Our Nd:YLF crystals are grown using the Czochralski technique. The use of high quality starting materials for crystal growth, whole boule interferometry, and precise measurement of bulk losses using transmission spectroscopy assures that each crystal will perform to customer specifications. Each rod is laser inspected to ensure that they free from bubbles and inclusions. Full traceability on all material produced, from finished laser material back to starting chemicals, is maintained.
The Nd:YLF material Roditi is able to supply includes:
- Rod sizes from 1mm to 25.4mm in diameter and from 1mm to 180mm in length
- Orientation of rod axis to crystal a-axis within 2 degrees
- Polished and AR coated barrels Nd dopant concentrations between 0.5 and 3.0%
- Large rod, slab dimensions and non-standard dopant concentrations are available upon request
